“This is a great topic and very timely with the Stacey Stillman suit pending right now. I'm not exactly sure how real reality television actually is. But I think that the outcome of the Stillman suit will tell us a great deal. Peter Lance's book "The Stingray" gave us a great deal of insight into Survivor. I think that it is all real to an extent, but I really want to see if a jury agrees with Stillman and Dirk Been. It could really tell a story.” –larry
“Without a doubt, the people on these shows are attention seeking individuals. The money alone on some of these shows is definitely not worth what they are put through. Not just physically, but the mental strain that goes along with having your life constantly recorded. With the popularity of these shows now, they know that there is the possibility that being on a reality show will lead to celebrity status. I think that is the biggest motivator to be on these shows. It is impossible to totally act like yourself with a camera in your face, so the "reality" in these reality shows is definitely skewed.” –Jason
