in a more private forum, the contestants say their final farewells to the dearly departed dave. emotions are more prevalent when not discussing their true feelings with the other players. could it be that certain players don’t want to reveal their real motives with the others?

“WOW... that last execution really shocked me. I was going to let John go on thinking that it was Dave and if John got the boot I would know for sure that it wasn't Dave. But the best thing about it is that I know exactly who the cybermole is now. I have absolutely no doubt. The name of the game now is throwing everyone off the trail of the real cybermole. The question is do I bring John along with me to the final two or not. He may be too risky in the final quiz. He takes notes too well. This is starting to get hard. The deception really starts to play now.” –larry (confessional)

“I was a little surprised. I expected either me or Gina to go. But Dave was probably my next guess, so it wasn't that shocking. It definitely doesn't change my thoughts on who the cybermole might be.” –jason (interview)

“Dave... I miss the guy already. He was very easy to talk to, a good guy all around. In a way, I feel responsible for his execution. My plan with Dave was, if he wasn't the cybermole, to push him hard toward Larry and thus force his elimination. Unless he lied to me about who he thought was the cybermole, my back-up plan did indeed work out. For all I know, he could have been voting for me as the cybermole. It's kind of hard, because I really liked the guy. But this is the nature of the game.” –john (interview)

“I was really really sad. Dave was the one I've felt closest to this entire time. If I had *definitely* known that he was not the Cybermole, I would have told him what I know - but that's the problem. I wasn't 100% sure that I could trust him and vice versa. I'm feeling a bit lonely without him. It doesn't change my thoughts upon the cybermole, the one I suspect is still playing.” –annette (interview)
