the team is given an unique challenge. a challenge in which they must work together, but cannot necessarily communicate together. if they can pull out from their losing streak, the team can salvage a considerable jackpot, but if they plunge further into their losing streak, the cybermole may have won his/her goal.

"Welcome executives/brats. You are going to partake in a challenge in which you must all work together to come up with a plan that will benefit all those involved in the challenge. Annette and Gina will take the role of the candidates. Dave and Larry will take the role of the hiring committee. Both groups must decide upon a contract to hire the collective candidate party. A contract must be decided before 20:00 EDT Sunday. If there is no contract, the negotiation will be considered an impasse and no money will be won. To objectively figure if the contract is beneficial to both sides, a point system has been created to represent "satisfaction" of each party for each decision. The contract must exceed a total 199 satisfaction points to win the challenge. Candidates may speak to each other and the hiring committee can discuss amongst themselves but the only communication between the two parties is through drafts of the contract. To retrieve drafts, you must access the mail account: cnegotiation@yahoo.com This challenge is worth $15 so I suggest that you work hard on this challenge. Good luck." -cybermolehost

challenge group 1: executives - dave and larry

"How you doing? Welcome to our challenge. Going to be good to work with you finally. Our paths haven't crossed much yet. I am going to check out the website but won't proceed any further until you have a chance to check this out and we can talk about our strategy. These women are pretty aggresive so we might have our work cut out for us :-) Look forward to getting started and sitting at the bargaining table with you." -dave

"I'm here. I just read it, but I'm going to have tore-read it to fully understand this challenge. Looks like there is alot going on in it." -larry

"I filled out a counter-offer and sent it. I started really low to give us room to manuever. Hope that is ok. The more I think about it, the more I think we are all one big team. You and I vs them sort of. Together we have to hit the magic number. My offer was this: 30K, 4% Bonus, 5 Vacation Days, 6/15 Start Day, Insurance Plan E, 70% Expense, Cubicle-Land, and Chicago. This totals 143 points. The only thing I am confused about is the e-mail thing. I sent a test message to the address last night but so far have heard nothing back. I assume we are at their mercy on counter offers so if they are trying to wreck the challenge for some reason, we might be spinning our wheels. Let me know what you think and I won't offer anything else until you and I have a chance to discuss it. I just wanted to get the ball rolling since it is due Sunday night and weekends are tough for most people. Hope to hear a reply from them and to talk with you soon. IN the meantime, if you want to share any thoughts on mole like behaivor, I am always up for discussion." -dave

"So now all that we can really do is wait for a reply right?" -larry
