“Just because you moved a space doesn't mean you got it right, does it? I thought that each answer you chose moved you in a certain direction and if you got all of them right then you'd get to the end. Like we won't know until the end if you got any wrong. Am I right? In any case, have you thought about the possibility that Annette would give odd answers so that we'd get them wrong? I guess there's nothing we can do about it if she did, but it's something to think about.” –jason

“Yeah, I think you're right about the answers thing... logic would dictate that if we got it right, we'd move a space; but the more I think about it, the more I think you're probably correct. There's got to be some room for error, though... going 20-for-20 on this would be nearly impossible. I'm thinking it can be done in less than 20 moves if we're good. I did think that Annette might have given some screwy answers, but there's no way of knowing. I think we're better off assuming that she played it straight.” –john
