welcome to the cybermole project. daniel has crossed the river to the other side. the team begins to hold more suspicious against each other...even against those that they have trusted since the beginning. each single word spoken can be misconstrued as the voice of the saboteur or it could all be misperception. no longer can the contestants trust each other because inevitably, one of them is obliged to betray each and every one of them.

This is the Episode #5.
This episode began at 8:00 EDT Monday 16th April 2001.
The episode ends at 20:00 EDT Thursday 19th April 2001.
Challenge #8 will end at 20:00 EDT Thursday 19th April 2001.
Challenge #9 will end at 20:00 EDT Wednesday 18th April 2001.

Six contestants continue to strive;
one blew with the wind and then there were five.

“Welcome players, I'm your cybermolehost. daniel has unfortunately left us. The group has become seven people lowly players aiming for the gold. Hopefully, these next challenges will give you a nice change of pace...

I need one person that knows all seven of the contestants very well.
I need two people that know quite a bit about europe.
I need four people that feel like rats in a cage.” -cybermolehost

“The challenge so far is to form groups. 4 that feel like Rats in a Maze, 2 that know Europe well and 1 that knows the other players well. But we are waiting to see if our resident European, Tine, is still around.” -dave

“Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage. So put me in that group...” –jason

“Alright, the clock is ticking, and we need to get rolling with these challenges... so I'm going to step up and propose the groups. There are a couple of changes in what has been volunteered for, and I'll explain why here in a bit. But my proposal is:

Knows Contestants: Annette
Knows Europe: Larry, Tine
Rats in a Cage: Jason, Dave, Gina, John

Annette, you've been active since the start and probably know the contestants as well as anyone.” –john
