it appears that the American version of The Mole has already infected the cybermole with its popular discreet alliance. it is only the second day of the project and there are many more days of this particular episode and still six more weeks until the cybermole is revealed. An alliance at this stage of the game may prove very helpful to mutually advance the alliance to the final episodes of the contest...but then again, there is never full trust in an alliance and one person may be deceiving the other in a selfish pursuit of the jackpot.

"I've paid attention to your posts on the board, you seem like you know what's going on. Bottom line is, in order to survive in this game, you've got to work with someone. So, I'm proposing that you and I form an "alliance" sort of like Jim and Steve did, but I've got some twists in mind that won't make it look like an exact reproduction. So, I'll leave it up to you. "Hey the Steve/Jim plan worked well for them. I'm all in. The thing that worked for S/J was that they knew who the Mole was. So we need to figure out who the cybermole is so that we know who to answer the quiz for while we are trying to throw people off of his/her trail. Dave is looking very suspicious to me. "As far as twists... people are surely going to be on the lookout for alliances like Steve/Jim had, so we've got to be very discreet about it. I think we'll need to do two main things to pull it off -- one, do like Steve/Jim did and form a false alliance with another player and two, talk very little with each other via the message boards. In fact, we probably should disagree on some things within the challenges to throw up a shield. We also should split up as much as possible to cover the group for information. I think the cybermole's going to lay low this episode. I think Dave may be trying to draw attention and suspicion to himself... I don’t think the cybermole will do much that is obvious... especially not in the early going, which is going to make things a lot more difficult. At least one of us should try to get in with someone in group two in order to get information as to what went on during their challenges. Tine might be a good one for you to go after, actually, since you two seemed to hit it off pretty good on the board. The mention of a "ghost" and the fact that there's one player with no picture in our challenge makes me think there's a connection between the two. May not be, may not affect us, but it's something to think about. I guess. And as long as I make it to the final episode, you can be Steve :)" –john (message to larry)

You are right that the cybermole is probably laying low this episode. Which is scary, because we need a suspect or either of us can be toast at the first execution quiz. I know very little about people like Gina, Michelle and Annette. "I'm going to try to build some trust with Dave, I think. Since he and I are the two oldest players, that ought to give me something to build around. I sent him a message today asking if he wanted to share information. Might not hurt us to come up with some sort of a code language, so we can communicate on the main board without anyone knowing what's up. So, let's split up as often as possible. About the execution test... I think "ax" left us a clue on the board when he said "this week's execution will be simple but deadly. just remember "the ghost..." I'm not sure we've seen the mole do much of anything. My guess is, the cybermole's been fairly active on the board, just blending in and trying to build up some trust." –john (message to larry)
