“Dave's surprise execution threw a major kink into my plan. I had previously been leading two people... Gina and John in the direction of Dave. Well, actually I was letting John believe that he was leading me in that direction. I knew that I had to work FAST if I wanted to cover my tracks when Dave got executed. I had to look desperate. I messaged John immediately and kicked of the topic challenge like I need a dossier really badly. I knew that if Gina switched her suspicion to me that I would still be OK because I had given her all false information about me in the previous episode. Even if she was on to me she would still be eliminated by answering the X-quiz completely wrong. Once again John playing the leader switched to Annette and I just went along with it. I have been careful to not suggest suspects to John. I let him suggest them to me and I go along with him. I will occasionally suggest a second suspect like Stephanie or Gina, just in case suspect number one goes. That way he won't think that I was trying to stir him the wrong way. So now I'm going along with his Annette theory. John should be the next to go. And I covered myself with the viewer by saying that I would sacrifice John because he was too good in his note taking. I couldn't afford to have him in the final three with me.
On this last challenge my main tactic was to waste time. I took as long as I could without looking suspicious. I knew Spanish and Google.com even translates text for you. So I found the answers early and took my time posting them. Funny thing is that I made a mistake and ended up in Toledo which was right outside of Madrid. I thought that I was in the right place but I wasn't. So I figured that I would waste some money and ask a stupid question. I got my answer and thought well OK I'm going to go to Madrid now. I've wasted more than enough time.. uh nope. I had to retrace my steps which wasted even more time. I decided not to share google with anyone and hoped that someone didn't speak Spanish and would be screwed. I figured that this would be a great sabotage because only the host knew that I had taken years of Spanish. The group would think that I took so long because of a language barrier.
Gina hadn't been very active on the main board. Only in our hotel room so I knew that she would probably take a while in the challenge too. And Gina and Annette got in a fight about it which made them both look like the cybermole. I set the pace for the challenge a slow one that costed us the money.”
